How Do I Pause My Membership?
🌟 Need a Break?
We get it, life happens. Whether you're heading off on a well-earned vacation, recovering from an illness, celebrating something special, or simply taking time to recharge, hitting pause on your musical journey is totally okay.
Pausing your membership lets you take a break without losing your progress or access to any lesson packs you've purchased outright.
Here’s What to Expect When You Pause
- Flexible Pause Length: Choose a pause duration that works for you, typically anywhere from one to three months.
- Keep Your Login Access: You’ll still be able to sign in to your account and revisit what you own. While your membership is paused, Members area content won’t be available, but it will be waiting for you when you’re ready to return.
- Automatic Restart: Your subscription will resume automatically once your selected pause period ends, and billing will pick back up from there.
Heads up: For now, membership pauses can only be done through the Musora website.
Ready to set it up? Just follow the step-by-step instructions below to pause your membership and come back whenever you’re ready. No pressure, no stress.
Pausing Your Subscription on Desktop
Step 1: Navigate to Settings, located in the bottom left of your screen.

Step 2: Once you're in your settings, access the Membership & Purchases tab and click Manage Subscription.

Step 3: Click on Manage Subscription and, once the following menu loads, click on Cancel Subscription (located at the bottom of the menu). NOTE: Clicking this won't automatically cancel your subscription.

Step 4: Once the sidebar opens, you're given options to choose how long you'd like to pause your membership for. Once you've selected one of the options, click Pause Subscription.

Pausing Your Subscription on Mobile
For our mobile app users who made their purchase through the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, please reach out directly to Apple or Google for support in this area
📌 Important Notes
- You can only pause once per billing cycle.
- Pausing is not available for lifetime memberships.
- If you change your mind, you can resume early through your account settings.
- If you subscribed through Apple or Google Play, you’ll need to manage your subscription through them — pausing is not available for app-based subscriptions.
