How Do I Pause My Membership?


🌟 Need a Break?

We get it, life happens. Whether you're heading off on a well-earned vacation, recovering from an illness, celebrating something special, or simply taking time to recharge, hitting pause on your musical journey is totally okay.


Pausing your membership lets you take a break without losing your progress or access to any lesson packs you've purchased outright.


📱 Important Note for Mobile App Users: Membership pausing is currently only available for accounts purchased directly through our website. If you signed up through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the app networks do not support temporary pauses.

Here’s What to Expect When You Pause

  • Flexible Pause Length: Choose a pause duration that works for you, typically anywhere from one to three months.
  • Keep Your Login Access: You’ll still be able to sign in to your account and revisit what you own. While your membership is paused, Members area content won’t be available, but it will be waiting for you when you’re ready to return.
  • Automatic Restart: Your subscription will resume automatically once your selected pause period ends, and billing will pick back up from there.

How to Pause Your Subscription (Web Members)

Don’t worry when you see the word "Cancel" in Step 3! This is simply the gateway to our flexible pause options—clicking it will not automatically delete or cancel your account.


Step 1: Log into your account, click your Profile Icon in the bottom-left corner of your desktop screen, and select Settings.

Step 2: Click on the Membership & Purchases tab.

Step 3:

  1. Click Manage Subscription, then select Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the menu.

Step 4: Once the sidebar opens, you're given options to choose how long you'd like to pause your membership for. Once you've selected one of the options, click Pause Subscription.

A sidebar menu will open offering flexible pause lengths. Choose the duration that works best for you (1, 2, or 3 months) and click Pause Subscription.



🗓️ Timing & What to Expect

When does the pause start? Your pause will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will keep full access to the members' area for the remainder of the time you’ve already paid for, and then your account will safely freeze.

  • Pro Tip: We highly recommend setting up your pause 2–3 days before your next scheduled renewal date to ensure the billing networks process the freeze in time.

What happens while my account is paused?

  • Your Progress is Safe: Your stats, practice history, community profile, and saved favourites will be perfectly preserved.
  • No Charges: Your billing stops completely for the duration you selected.
  • Access Restored Automatically: To make things seamless, your membership will automatically reactivate and resume billing once your pause period ends.
